A new version for FSX is under way. Called OGX, OGS for FSX has a totally new structure and will be opened to any harware through a SDK. Due to our lack of spare time for development we are now seeking help from beta testers (see forum, in the sticly list part ...) 
Cockpitware Activities
Our goal is to develop different elements, hardware and software, for home cockpit realisation. The philosophy here is that home cockpits elements are sold at prices which are much too high to allow for a rapid development of the activity. The site has opened on December 20, 2006, and will slowly expand. We begin with a Glass flightdeck software. The full package will contain the Primary Flight Display (PFD) and the Navigation Display (ND), MCP, FMC and EICAS/plane control logic software.
All releases of the PFD+ND (including the MCP functionalities, controled via the keyboard) will be publicly available as FREEWARE. We plan to make this part of OGS as opened as possible, with a future SDK to allow 3rd part programs to plug-in, and we will supply drivers for popular I/O cards, so that OGS can be easily controled by hardware of your choice. Now , regarding the FMC and EICAS parts of OGS, we plan to release them as sharewares, at very low cost.
